The Wake Yard is all about creating a space that’s open to everyone — a place to get outside, get active, and have a good time on the water. We back the local community by offering training and job opportunities for young people, and we’re big on giving them a way into alternative sports in a safe, welcoming spot. Instead of hanging around with nothing to do, we want to see young people progressing, pushing themselves, and picking up new skills.
We also link up with schools and community groups to run social programmes — making sure The Wake Yard is more than just a wake park, it’s a place that brings people together and shows off all the good that being outdoors can do.
